Gill – The Glasgow Girl – is a thirty-something Glasgow based blogger, born and raised in and around this fair city, ventured north to Aberdeen for university and stayed for work for an extra couple of years but has since returned to the good old hometown and have been back for 10 years now. I can be found living and working in Glasgow and further afield (from time to time) as a Stella & Dot Stylist (have jewels, will travel).

#saturdaystyle New winter hair has been done this week, the photo makes it look darker than it is, but it kinda matches the jumper 😆 talking of jumpers, I’ve been on the hunt for non wool, non itchy, slightly long jumpers for ages and picked this one up in @marksandspencerfashionpr yesterday with 20% off with my sparks card. There’s lots of great special offers at the moment so it’s worth having one either on the app or an actual card. Anyway, back to the jumper... they didn’t have my actual size which I have a feeling would have sat on the waistband of my jeans and been too boxy for me and I wanted this to be oversized so it sits longer and I could get a long sleeved top or khaki shirt under it so I’ve sized up. I’ll pair it with dark blue or black jeans, tan boots and probably a green or burgundy scarf to brighten things up. Post work wanderings. So glad it’s the weekend, it’s been the longest week. 2 more days of work next week and I’m finished work until 7th January. I can’t wait! I know I’ve been quieter on here lately and on the blog, it’s been a busy week with lots going on at work and just generally busy. So, if you’re starting to think about Christmas and would rather make your own cards than buy them, then get in touch with @craftwithemma and she can help, you can shop online with her to buy everything you need to make some amazing cards but she also runs craft workshops. These are a few cards I made with her a couple of months ago... I’ve known Emma for years so it was great to catch up and it was fun to do something creative, I used to make cards a lot when I was younger but don’t often get the time now so this was a lovely way to spend an evening.
