All Good Things Must Come To An End

This is not an easy post for me to write… It is with great sadness I share with you that Stella & Dot will cease trading in the UK and Europe from 7th April 2019. As you will understand, all of us who are stylists new and the more seasoned of us alike have been devastated by the news, whether it’s a sparkly hobby or a full-time income, it’s also so much more than that.

I joined Stella & Dot just 5 years ago after moving back to Aberdeen, because I fell in love with the jewellery but it was mainly as a way to meet new people and earn some extra cash… over the years I have made some incredible friends all over the UK, attended our annual conferences in London and received training that has shaped my personal and business development.

The joy of being a stylist has always been the flexibility of the business that it fits around my full-time job, family, social life etc. I’ve loved it and looking back there are times I could have been more focussed on business but life happens, the full time job got in the way and I had some other priorities and that’s ok… the skills I’ve learned, confidence I’ve gained and the community of amazing friends are still there and will continue to be.

All that being said, our new collection launched today and I will be selling my socks off for the next three months. I will be available for in-person or online ‘Farewell Style Sessions’ until 31st March 2019 so let’s get a date booked before it’s too late. My Stella & Dot website will be live until 7th April 2019 should you wish to shop until then.

At some point over the next few weeks and months, I will be having a sample sale in my Facebook VIP Group, which you’re very welcome to join/share with friends.

Having been a stylist for 5 and a bit years, I still get excited for our new collection launches and this year’s is no exception. Blythe Harris and the design team have released some gorgeous jewellery, accessories and clothing.

Here’s a few of my favourites that are on my wishlist.

Top of the list has to be this cobalt sweatshirt.

If you’re a fan of our best-selling rebel pendant then you will love the update to our rebel collection with the addition of semi-precious stones to the gold and rose gold chains, for the first time we are introducing a cuff with the same semi-precious stone. Why not finish the look with matching studs. I don’t usually gravitate to rose gold, but the rose gold set is beautiful.

If silver is your thing, then the Amour Drop Earrings are bound to be best sellers, they are gorgeous everyday essentials.

If statement earrings are more your thing, we’ve got you covered too…

This is by far my favourite necklace of the collection… An update to our original gold or silver Essential Fringe Necklace with a mixed metal Essential Fringe Necklace, this beauty will go with everything. Layer over a Breton Stripe Top or pair with a denim shirt for a casual look or wear with a little black dress for an evening outfit.

If you would like to get this for free, why not host a style session (in person if local) or online if further afield.

As a thank you to our loyal customers, there’s 20% off everything (excluding sale items) from today! Shop my website or contact me to order.

Thank you so much to family, friends and customers over the years, I couldn’t have built my business without you.

Hope you have a great week.
