What’s In My Hand Luggage?

By the time you read this, I’ll have arrived in Sri Lanka (and hopefully my suitcase will have arrived too).

Here’s a quick rundown of the things that will be in my hand luggage:

I’ll be using my Stella & Dot Getaway bag (in red ikat which has been discontinued) but you can shop the other Getaways in the collection. I love that this bag expands so will be perfect for the beach when we arrive on holiday.

I always take a spare outfit (underwear, pyjamas, swimsuit, shorts, top and flip flops)… you can’t be too prepared.

My Laney pouch gifted by my lovely friend Prue at The Cool Calm Collection is what’s going to keep all my travel documents safe and I’ll use it on the plane to keep my earphones, phone charger and skech mobile power pack (because we all know the battery life of Apple products ain’t the best).

I’ll have my iPad mini and Logitech Keys to Go keyboard

I plan to schedule some blog posts before I go, but in case I don’t get time, I can make some notes if I get some inspiration on the flight.

I’ve downloaded Girl Wash Your Face on Audible so I can listen to it on the flight and I’ve got another few books on my Kindle App, but I’ll probably pick up a few magazines in the airport.

A scarf and fluffy socks because I’m always cold and like to be cozy on the plane.

Toiletries – Cleansing/Antibacterial Gel (planes are full of germs and I’ll be on them for a lot of hours)… Toothbrush and toothpaste (the airline usually provide them, but I like my own and nothing feels grosser than not brushing your teeth regularly on a flight). Moisturiser/hand-cream.

I tend not to wear much make-up when travelling long haul because I usually forget to take it off, so I’ll probably just put on some primer and take some moisturiser (usually nivea so I can use it on my face and hands… I only do this when travelling, this isn’t my usual skincare routine), Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil , Gimme Brow and Dior Lip Glow to moisturise my lips and give them a bit of colour to makes me feel a bit more put together after a long journey. I’ll no doubt throw some lipstick/gloss in there for good measure.

What do you usually take in your hand luggage for long haul flights? Feel free to comment below.

Hope you have a great weekend.
